When you laugh or smile, it triggers a part of your brain that makes you Happy ? ?
You know what! I was just swinging through different websites and reading articles on the life led by the average business guys and the stress they the take the burden of unnecessarily in their life. And from nowhere, somehow, it stuck to me where is the cure for all these hubbubs in our life yes at the same time my subconscious brain gave me a hint in the form of a smiling face of child emerged before my eyes and simultaneously the giggles in the childhood that I had shared with my Paa & Maa peeped through the windows of my memory. I started penning on the two beautiful twins which are endowed with mighty powers and can prove their worth in seconds. It is something that is reflected in the words of Yoko Ono, a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist.
“Smile in the mirror. Do that every morning and you’ll start to see a big difference in your life.”
” Mysha – Learning from a child how to be happy”
She has to write so because, in the rat race of earning name, fame and money, we perhaps have forgotten to smile and laugh with innocence. We find people around us with smiles but you would agree with me that most of them are artificial rather than the natural ones.
Why do we wear Plastic Smiles ?
When we smile and laugh we need to do the act not to please the others but I think, we need to do it please our soul. No matter you wear the world’s costliest outfits but you are sure to be imperfect without a sweet touchy smile.
And so is the case with laughter. It is medically proven that Laughter is one of the best exercises to energise the functioning of the organs like lungs, heart, muscles, nerves, hormones and the immune system. Mark Twain has wisely quoted,
“The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter.”
Yes, it is really an effective weapon we have with which we can help someone in his tight corners. If you can not help someone any way, just try to be a cause of a curve of a smile on his face or widened jaws with laughter. It would definitely give him strength prepare his come back with more creativity and power.
Let me conclude with some facts;
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18% of the population.
-National Institute of Mental Health
The scenario in India also very striking; according to an estimation,
“One of every four Indians affected by anxiety disorders, 10% are depressed.”
These two stastics are enough to prove the necessity the lovely twins. Now, let me try to explain the role of the twins that play with some common incidents that we encounter in our day to day life.
“After a tiring day and endless arguments at the workplace, a man comes to his place. He is welcomed with an invitation to his son to perform a song on a national television channel. His face blossoms and a curve of smile fill his heart with joy and satisfaction.”
You know what! Such joy and satisfaction can never be bought nor can be sought with efforts. It is 100% natural. You need to find such delicate moments in your life and save them for the tight corners and the right times that you might have to face in the womb of unknown future.
“In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.”
– Khalil Gibran
